Bio
I am an artist and creative producer based in London, working primarily with moving images and photographic mediums, while also dabbling in performance, expanded cinema and alternative curatorial processes. I’m interested in confrontations between reality and fantasy, and how, in the heat of those encounters, they reveal the interconnectedness of things within the political economy of desire.
I am currently a Kone Foundation grant awardee, and was a finalist for the Dazed x CIRCA award and a Tour de Moon film commission grantee. Alongside Kaisa Saarinen, we are working on a long-term, multi-media research and art project about the natural rubber industry in Southeast Asia, focusing on the seemingly contradictory experiences of rubber smallholders and rubber gimps.
Aside from my artistic practice, I am co-curator of Kawaii Agency along with Juliusz Grabianski since 2021, a programmer for Queer East’s Expanded strand since 2023, and have produced several multi-disciplinary art events.
My visual art works have been featured on SHOWstudio, ArtAsiaPacific, Financial Times, the Wrong Biennale, F Zine, Service95, Dazed, and others.
